More RAFT!!!!!

Q: If you looked though some one's garbage: what could you see? ( or tell about the person...)

A: Hmm... Pizza, moldey cheese, yellow lettuce, empty pop cans, an old china doll.... etc... What does this tell me about a person? It honestly [or at least what I honestly think about this] tells me nothing other than this person has thrown away these items. It tells me nothing as to why they did it or who trashed it. An argument for this is simple; I had a girl friend who was a total neat freak and would never ever eat tacos or nachos because she thought they were too messy. One day, I saw some half-eaten, bitten into tacos in the garbage and had to ask if she bit them. She didn't, but she let her friends eat them in her room! Obviously, that showed me nothing about her other than that people can change...

more RAFTS made this year

Q: If you hate some one's clothes: to tell the truth...?

A: " Do these jeans make my butt look fat?" This question always makes me smile. I usually avoid the whole answer to this by saying, " My opinion really doesn't matter on this. If it's what you want, then get it. If ti's comfy and you feel good getting it; why not?" Now, depending on the reason behind getting it: If a girl friend of mine wanted to get a really low, cleavage-showing shirt, I would tell her not to buy it. I would be honest. I would probably say something like, " I think it's a little low in the front. Let's keep looking. If you were going for that, we should probably discuss this. You don't need that kind of attention from boys." I'd figure out why why they were getting it, before giving my opinion.

1st RAFT assignment for 3rd Trimester

Hey Hatten,
Well to tell you the truth my Spring Break was pretty lame to start with. It was really boring, and I spent the first half of my lame break on Myspace. I was way bored. There was no one to talk to or anything. The last part of my break was a little more interesting, though. I got asked out. It was a little creepy by some kid I barely talk to. He wrote a really cute poem. I must say, the way he asked me out was in style. He called me first, (which I guess was from a cell-phone). I was looking out my window and he asked me where I was. I told him about how I was staring out at the lake and how there was a car driving in my cuddle-sac. I asked him if that was him, and I guess it was. He told me that he had a question to ask me. And then I was like, well I meet you at the door. When he came inside, he handed me a yellow piece of paper. I read the cutest, most personal poem. I had to tell him the truth, though, and I told him that I didn't feel the same way. He understood. I told him that I was glad that he told me, and how I thought it was honorable, but that I just didn't like him that way. I felt bad about it, but I guess you can't make yourself feel something you don't. I guess the reason I spent most of my RAFT talking about this, is because it was probably the highlight of my whole week. Besides that, I went to work with my mom, visited my grandpa, and hung out with my friends when they got back from long trips. The only other interesting thing that I could think to tell you is how my friend went to Italy and came back bearing gifts from afar. He wouldn't give it to me right away because I guess my other friend had to be there. After many rounds of "Apples to Apples" we went downstairs. He reached in his backpack and pulled out the funniest thing; three aprons and big chef hats!!!! He had bought then in Rome and Vatican City!!! This made my week not so boring. The funny thing about that is when he made us put it on and wear then upstairs. My family was roaring!! Yep! At least my Spring Break ended well!!

Oh, and this Trimester I will try to keep my grades up. And I will NOT! procrastinate!!!

Thanks, Sarah.
